White Jacket, ca. 1908

A white linen jacket with a delicate crocheted lace trim creates an airy, elegant silhouette. Along the front panels, left and right, the piece features beautifully crafted three‑dimensional floral lace appliqués that add depth and texture. Above them sits a subtle star appliqué with two hanging tassels, giving the jacket a touch of playful movement. The back is designed with a two‑part construction connected by lace, complemented by another softly swaying appliqué. On the sides, at hip level, additional floral lace elements enhance the feminine detailing. The jacket is in very good to excellent condition and, true to its style, was traditionally worn open. The decoration is not included.
